Established in 2015, Wahaha International School (WIS) is a non-profit, English-language immersion international school offering IB programs throughout Grade 1 to Grade 9.

杭州娃哈哈外籍人员子女学校（Wahaha International School，简称WIS）是2015年7月经浙江省教育厅批准成立的外籍人员子女学校，是一所非营利的，采用英语浸润式教学的国际学校，招收一到九年级的外籍学生。

Grade 1 marks the beginning of a child’s journey into academic exploration and holistic development. Grade 1 is a critical stage for language development. At WIS, we provide an immersive English environment paired with a robust Chinese curriculum to build a strong linguistic foundation for our students. In the PYP stage (Grades 1-5) , students have eight classes (seven academic classes and one well-being course) each day, with a focus on six main subject areas: Language acquisitions (English and Chinese), Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies, Arts, and Physical, Social, and Personal Education.

WIS students engage in six transdisciplinary inquiry units each year, exploring real-world issues that go beyond traditional subject boundaries. In their final year of the PYP, they independently design, implement, reflect on, and take action through a self-led inquiry unit, fostering community engagement and demonstrating their learning journey.

在PYP阶段（一至五年级），学生每天有八节课（七节学术课程和一节身心健康课程），主要为语言（英文和中文）、数学、科学、社会学、艺术和个人、社交及体育这六大类学科。

同时，每个年级将分别参与六个与现实世界紧密相关的超学科探究单元，这些单元探讨跨学科的问题，鼓励批判性思考和多元观点。在 PYP 的最后一年，学生会自主设计、执行、反思并采取行动，推动社区参与，并展示他们的学习成果。

At this stage, first graders begin to develop interpersonal relationships and teamwork skills. Through student-centered teaching methods and hands-on activities, we help children cultivate empathy, independence, and problem-solving abilities, fostering their healthy growth as they interact with their peers.
